It’s pride for presentation that keeps us here at Earshot working hard to bring you the very best this genre has to offer. Often presenting norm-challenging and innovative artists with their unique sound, that, when performed in the same musical space as more traditional jazz stylings, keeps the genre alive and fresh – inviting and intriguing new audiences along the way.
This season also signifies the opportunity to start new developments. This month, Earshot’s Board of Directors is officially kicking off the process to start its search for the organization’s new Executive Director. Assembling the search committee, finalizing the key tenets & responsibilities of the role, and building a detailed timeline with major milestones along the way are but a few of the many pieces coming together to ensure we have a solid process that will successfully yield us our new Executive Director by the fall.
This month we’re proud to spotlight and celebrate local artists and their unique presentation of music during our Golden Ear Awards showcase on March 15. And we’re in the throes of building our plan to identify the next Executive Director of Earshot Jazz.
As we forge forward into a new era of Earshot, you can rest assured we will continue our legacy of artful performance curation, innovative and evolved programming, promoting, and supporting each other in community — all while we accelerate our outreach to new audiences.
