Art of Jazz: LaVon Hardison

May 9 @ 5:30 pm7:30 pm

LaVon Hardison by Daniel Sheehan

Co-presented with Seattle Art Museum and KNKX.

LaVon Hardison is one of Seattle’s most compelling vocalists who dishes up a new world of jazz vocals; equally at home rendering jazz standards, original compositions, and creative interpretations of popular songs. Delivering her music with soul, humor, and an undeniable flair, she moves audiences to new musical heights. Andrew Luthringer writing for Earshot Jazz praises Hardison as “more than a singer, she’s a multi-talented entertainer who simply lights up a room, raising the roof and bringing down the house.”  Hardison is joined by Eric Verlinde (piano), Jeff Busch (drums, percussion), Osama Afifi (bass), and Jerome Smith (horns).

Performances are held at 5:30pm on the second Thursday of every month. Free and open to the public!
