February 25 @ 6:00 pm9:00 pm

$35.00

Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah brings his expanded and holistic vision of music as a healing power and source of wisdom to the world through a careful selection of artists. This begins with Weedie Braimah, born in Ghana and raised in East St Louis with deep roots in New Orleans. Regarded as the premiere voice of the Djembe, Braimah’s lifelong quest and professional career in the study of African folklore and cultural music of the African diaspora has led him to his first full length album just out on Adjuah’s Stretch Music label.

Chief Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah  is a two-time Edison Award winning and five-time Grammy® Award nominated musician, composer and producer. He is the nephew of NEA Jazz Master, jazz innovator and legendary sax man, Donald Harrison, Jr.
