A power trio in the truest sense, this iteration of the David Binney Trio features the visceral and grooving rhythms of Louis Cole on drums and Pera Krstajic on bass, bolstering Binney’s virtuosic saxophone melodies. The trio utilizes acoustic and electronic soundscapes to present frenetic tunes that always remain grounded in rhythmic lock-step. It’s a rare treat to get three musicians of this caliber in the room together, and we couldn’t be more excited to present them.
Binney’s distinctive saxophone sound and innovative compositions have been heard from basement clubs in New York to jazz festivals in Europe and the world. David has also appeared with Aretha Franklin at Carnegie Hall, and with Jamiroquai, Chris Potter, Antonio Sanchez, and countless others.
