Janet Mudge Album Release

June 19 @ 7:00 pm9:30 pm

$20

Clear, melodic stylings and imaginative phrasing, Janet Mudge delivers her spark into a handful of well-chosen jazz and swing tunes. She knows one thing for sure – The Great American Songbook is here to stay as her musical center. She takes sincere pride and purpose keeping it alive for her audiences and generations to come. Janet values her connection with live music. She performs with her trio “Janet and The CurMudgeons”, frequents open mics and jazz jams, attends Puget Sound Guitar Workshop and Jazz Camp West, and studies jazz guitar.

Joined by a stellar rhythm section: Hans Brehmer (piano), Osama Afifi (bass) and Mark Ivester (drums) – Janet celebrates her first album release, “Tenderly The Nashville Sessions”, recently recorded at Audio 51 on the iconic Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee. She is pleased to feature Andy Reiss who produced the album, wherein you’ll hear his sweet guitar licks. As well as spending time in the studio, Andy trades solos with Vince Gill in Nashville’s “The Time Jumpers”. Also, joining the talent this evening will be Pete Christleib, well-known saxophonist with Doc Severinsen on the Tonight Show.  Pete has a quite the musical history, currently performing around the Puget Sound area with his wife, Linda Small on trombone.

Needless to say, Janet is over the moon to share the stage with such an accomplished ensemble. She thinks you will be delighted, too! For more info or to take a listen, please visit Janet’s webpage: http://janetmudge.com/index.html
