Our featured performer this month, Marina Albero ( www.marinaalbero.net ), has certainly made her mark on the regional jazz community since her arrival from Barcelona in 2015.  Her prodigious piano and composition talents are “off the chart!”  One measurement of her impact is the recent receipt of her 7^th and 8^th Earshot Jazz Golden Ear awards this month (Northwest Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year and also Northwest Concert of the Year along with Jacqueline Tabor “Don’t Explain” October 20, 2022 at Town Hall Seattle).   Her improvisational abilities are uncanny as she speaks the musical languages of old Europe, modern Spain, 1990s Cuba and the US of today.  Joining Marina at Marine View will be Kelsey Mines on bass, Sheridan Riley on drums and Hannah Mowry on trumpet – all exceptional instrumentalists quickly ascending their music worlds.  Don’t miss a phenomenal evening of music in the beautiful, acoustical confines of Marine View.
