A recent arrival to Port of Tacoma, John Dworkin originally hails from the great state of New York. Typically, he grew up learning/loving rock ‘n roll, but shifted his focus to jazz about 25 years ago. Blessed to have been part of the legendary Flagstaff group RJP, in addition to having graduated from Berklee College, John is excited to be part of Pocket Changes.
Jesse Kuras is a local to the Tacoma area, and recent graduate of UPS. He enjoys long walks on the beach, rippin’ licks, and working with talented musicians like this group. Jesse will be moving to Portland in July to pursue music and various entrepreneurial opportunities.
Dave Cohen is a native of Kansas City where growing up with jazz was unavoidable. Equally comfy in other genres, he has toured and recorded with British prog rock luminaries Richard Sinclair and Peter Bardens as well as a sub stint with psych-blues legends Canned Heat. Dave is not happy that Jesse is moving to Portland.
