The Bellevue Downtown Association‘s (BDA) annual Jazz & Blues Music Series will fill Downtown Bellevue with live music the first week of October. The annual series returns with more than 20 shows, including two headliners at Meydenbauer Center Theatre. The Stacy Jones Band will grace the stage on October 6 with a blend of high-energy blues and dynamic vocals, and Pearl Django with Gail Pettis will follow up with Hot Club jazz tunes on October 7. Tickets are available at bellevuejazz.com.
The featured lineup of 20-plus jazz and blues artists will play at venues across Downtown Bellevue, with many free to the public. Live performances will take place at Bake’s Place Bar & Bistro, El Gaucho, The Bellettini, Bellevue Place, Lincoln Square North and South, Meydenbauer Center Theatre, Bellevue Arts Museum, and AC Hotel Seattle Bellevue Downtown.
The BDA will also welcome a student showcase of local high school and middle school jazz combos, including Bellevue High School and Snohomish High School. Performances will take place Sunday, October 8, at the Bellevue Arts Museum.
“We’re honored to present another year filled with talented performers that will bring the community together for multiple nights of charismatic and soul-stirring music,” Mike Ogliore, BDA’s vice president of events & operations, said. “This event has been a cherished tradition for over 15 years, and we can’t wait to create more lasting memories again.”
The 2023 Bellevue Jazz & Blues Music Series has garnered tremendous support from event partner City of Bellevue and media partners 425 Magazine and KNKX Radio, reflecting the significance of this cultural celebration for the region.
