Vibraphonist Susan Pascal celebrates her 26-year run at Tula’s with an expanded group featuring tenor sax powerhouse Pete Christlieb, trumpet phenom Thomas Marriott, core rhythm section players Bill Anschell on piano and Chuck Deardorf on bass, and Portland star drummer Gary Hobbs.

Jazz vibraphonist Susan Pascal has played four tours of Singapore and concerts, workshops and clinics across the United States. Pascal is heard on a slew of film soundtracks including “The Blind Side”, “The Wedding Planner”, “Office Space”, ”Eulogy” and “Mirror, Mirror,” and is a guest artist on many recordings.
Pascal’s eclectic musical projects include a tribute to Stan Getz with saxophone legend Pete Christlieb; the SOUL SAUCE SEPTET, a tribute to Latin jazz icon Cal Tjader; arrangements of music by Chick Corea called STRAIGHT UP AND DOWN; and the BRAZIL PROJECT band featuring choros and jazz from Brazil. She features the landmark music of Keith Jarrett in THE JOURNEY HOME: MUSIC OF KEITH JARRETT. Susan’s straight-ahead jazz group, the SUSAN PASCAL QUARTET was twice nominated for Best NW Acoustic Group by Seattle’s Earshot Jazz.
