Jim Wilke: Ear to What’s Here
A peek into Jim Wilke’s life’s that highlights his five decades of Jazz radio broadcasting, and a nomination for the Willis Conover-Marian McPartland award. A night that stands out to him is in 1965 when he live broadcasted saxophonist John Coltrane. He continues to broadcast all of the new music he consumes from home through KPLU Sundays at 2pm.
