The Grammy-nominated neo-soul icon Bilal is renowned for his intense performances, stunning vocal range, and cosmic jazz-funk fusion. Opening is D.E.D Sirius: soulful rapper/singer DoNormaal whose thought-provoking lyrics and hallmark cadence are supported in a special project by two key figures on the Seattle scene, D’Vonne Lewis (drums) and Evan Flory-Barnes (bass).

BILAL: The Philadelphia-born vocalist, song-writer, and producer has built a steady following of fans who appreciate the artist’s extensive vocal range, explosively addictive live shows, and his wondrous ability to shape-shift between genres without missing a beat. 2024 has been a stellar year for Bilal, featuring renowned performances and the release of two albums. Bilal: Live at Glasshaus  is a mid-career retrospective featuring Questlove, Common, Robert Glasper, and Burniss Travis. The live record presents Bilal within an ensemble of luminaries who reimagine standouts from his classic repertoire. It is a powerful reminder of Bilal’s dynamic vocal abilities and songwriting mastery. That offering was followed with his first album of new music in eight years—Adjust Brightness, which marks a new chapter for Bilal. Featuring 11 brand-new tracks that takes listeners on his most daring musical journey yet, blending his deep love of soul, funk, and jazz with futuristic, electronic, and abstract elements.

D.E.D. Sirius: Rapper/vocalist DoNormaal is gleefully accompanied by legends D’Vonne Lewis on drums and Evan Flory-Barnes on bass. Evan Flory-Barnes will also be presenting an original song he will be singing and playing bass on.
