Brandon Woody is a Baltimore-born, Bach-endorsed trumpeter, composer, and bandleader whose music flows from the rich lineage of Black music, including jazz, gospel, improvisation, and beyond, to explore themes of love, resilience, and community. Hailed by The New York Times and Los Angeles Times as a rising force in contemporary jazz, Woody signed with the legendary Blue Note Records in November 2024 and released his debut album, For The Love Of It All (May 2025).

Rooted in Baltimore, Brandon Woody has built his career from his hometown, drawing on its vibrant creative culture and community spirit. Woody has collaborated with artists such as Terri Lyne Carrington, BADBADNOTGOOD, Danilo Pérez, Casey Benjamin, Marcus Gilmore, Robert Glasper, and Solange Knowles. His television appearances include Godfather of Harlem, Lady in the Lake, and The Bride. Woody uses music as a tool for healing, connection, and joy. The band is Brandon Woody (trumpet), Troy Long (keys), Quincy Phillips (drums), and Michael Saunders (bass).

Opening, pianist Evan Captain’s trio with bassist Kelsey Mines and drummer Chris Icasiano playing original instrumental jazz compositions exploring mixed heritage and cultural identity.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, our originally planned concert which featured corto.alto as the headline act, had to be changed. Although corto.alto had to postpone their tour, corto.alto thanks everyone for their support, and is planning a new tour for 2026. We apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience.
