An interstellar voyage of jazz harmonies, synth-pop, lo-fi funk, and surreal sound worlds from the Californian producer, joined by Philadelphia guitar wizard, Flanafi. Also on the bill tonight is the multi-instrumentalist female producer Salami Rose Joe Louis who was signed to Flying Lotus’s Brainfeeder label in 2019. Late night, celebrate borderless sounds and communal joy at DJ Rizoma’s Global Groove, with rotating DJs and bilingual Latin funk collective REPOSADO. Channeling the musical stylings of Fela Kuti, Fania All-Stars, and Curtis Mayfield, REPOSADO’s dynamic landscapes are pulled from the Caribbean, West Africa, Queens, and frontman Jean-Paul Builes’s new home base in Seattle.
