The concert follows in the tradition of the Battle of the Bands popularized by an early 20th century concert staple where two popular orchestras would try to outperform one another in front of a live audience.

Maiden Voyage is honored to join Earshot Jazz Festival in presenting two special listening sessions. Festival performer and Impulse Records artist Ted Poor will be the special guest selector on November 4 and share some of his favorite records.
