Ranger and the “Re-Arrangers” evoke the spirit of a Paris cafe and the raucous energy of a Romani campsite with their version of Hot Club Swing. At the heart of their sound is tight interplay between two great soloists. The band’s repertoire includes swing standards, traditional European melodies, and the music of Django Reinhardt.
Over the years, we’ve developed a small repertoire of jazzy holiday tunes–we really enjoy playing them, and there’s only a short season when we get to break them out! For this show we’ll play a mix of our regular repertoire and those “Re-Arranged” holiday classics. To give an example–one audience favorite is our minor-key, tango version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer : )
Please note: Ticket prices go directly to the talented musicians performing. There is also a $20 per person food and beverage minimum during ticketed shows—this helps us support our amazing staff and continue bringing incredible live music to the Bistro.
