Michael Van Bebber Swingtet

Michael Van Bebber earned his doctorate in Jazz Studies from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, where he was a member of the renowned Eastman Jazz Ensemble. He has shared the stage with many notable jazz artists including Lee Konitz, Walt Weiskopf, The Who, The Four Tops, Johnny Mathis, John Pizzarelli, the Woody Herman Band, Chuck Mangione, Jeff Beal, John Fedchock, Pat LaBarbara, Marvin Stamm, and Bill Dobbins. He also directs two jazz bands at Roosevelt High School. In addition to SRJO, he is a member of the Jay Thomas Quintet and the 5th Avenue Theatre pit orchestra, and regularly posts full transcriptions of a variety of genres of music, under the YouTube channel name Michael Van Bebber.At the historic Jules Maes Saloon in Georgetown
