South Hudson Music Project and KNKX present The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, a 1920’s German expressionist masterpiece and the first true horror film. With painted shadows, hypnotic charms and beautiful early typography, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari is cited as one of the earliest, most influential and artistically acclaimed German expressionist films. Join us this Halloween as we screen this stunning silent piece of early cinema, with a live score by our very own Wayne Horvitz.
